The Heart Behind Our Work

Families First NC, Inc. is a community-based organization dedicated to strengthening families through advocacy, education, and holistic support services. We believe that every family deserves to feel safe, supported, and empowered to thrive.
Serving Rowan and Cabarrus counties, Families First NC Inc works alongside families navigating challenging circumstances by providing wraparound services that promote stability, well-being, and long-term success. Our programs support youth development, equip parents and caregivers with essential tools, and ensure safe, structured environments for families involved in the court system.

Through services such as supervised visitation and exchange, parenting education, adolescent health programming, youth development, and court-based childcare, we take a comprehensive approach to meeting families where they are and walking with them every step of the way.
At the heart of our work is advocacy—ensuring that families have a voice, access to resources, and the support they need to overcome barriers and build stronger futures.
At Families First, we are proud to be Your Family’s Advocate, committed to building safe, healthy, and thriving families that create stronger communities.
